At Corrimal Public School, we embrace the power of public education, serving 230 students across 9 classes. With a diverse community where 9% of our students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and 12% come from an EALD background, we take pride in knowing each individual student, fostering an environment where every child can learn, grow, and truly belong.
Our dedicated staff utilise current, evidence-based pedagogies to support and extend each child's learning journey, ensuring that every child can pursue their passions, including leadership opportunities. Our vibrant classrooms are designed to be fun and engaging, filled with hands-on learning experiences that empower your child to receive the very best education. We focus on literacy, believing that reading unlocks a world of magical adventures, and we aim to make mathematics fun and relevant.
In addition to our strong academic programs, we offer a multitude of opportunities for our students to explore their interests and strengths. From sporting events and dance performances, to ‘clubs’ such as library, gardening, and LEGO club, we encourage students to participate in a variety of activities. Our Breakfast Club runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am-9:00am, providing a nutritious start to the day and fostering a sense of community among students.
Our sizable playground features a basketball court, playground equipment, a sandpit, cubby houses, shaded areas, and a soccer field, providing ample space for play and exploration.
We cherish our strong relationships with the local community and work collaboratively with our P&C to achieve shared goals.
