Community involvement
We are passionate about having strong connections with our local community. Parents and Carers are always welcome in our school, through volunteering, the Parents & Citizen Association, and the Fathering Project.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members who are passionate advocates for our students. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Dads of Corrimal
Once a term, Corrimal Public School hosts Dads of Corrimal, a fun and inclusive community event that brings together fathers, father figures, and their kids for an afternoon of connection, activity, and laughter. Each event is a little different. Sometimes it’s a friendly competition of mini sports games like soccer or basketball, with dads and kids teaming up or facing off. Other times it might be bingo, a paper airplane contest, or other creative games that bring out the smiles.
Uncles, older brothers, younger siblings, and all supportive male role models are warmly welcomed. The school always puts on food for everyone, and the event is completely free.
While the games and snacks are a big hit, the real value of Dads of Corrimal is in the time spent together. Life gets busy, and it’s easy for quality time to slip through the cracks. This program is a simple but meaningful way to encourage dads and kids to slow down, connect, and create memories. When children feel supported and seen by the important adults in their lives, it helps build their confidence, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
At Corrimal, we believe in fostering these moments and making them accessible to all families. Dads of Corrimal is one small way we help grow strong school and family partnerships that benefit every child.
